Chemical Resistant Cover Goggle
For applications where there is a concern for liquid splash, the Chemical Resistant Cover Goggle provides both protection and economy. The goggle includes the Silicote™-6 Chemical Resistant goggle lens. The Silicote coating provides a barrier from the chemical environment, protecting the surface from many acids, bases and solvents. (An exception is Hydrofluoric acid, used as an etching compound for glass surfaces. The acid will frost the surface of the coated shield as it does glass Cleaning agents such as acetone, paint thinner and MEK alcohols will not damage the coated surface. Even wet paint wipes off without damaging the surface. The Standard sized frame is designed to fit over most opthalmic frames. Meets ANSI Z87.1-1989. Made in the USA
